SAFETY AND INSURANCE

La Grande Little League seeks to provide the safest environment possible for the players, spectators and volunteers. The board of directors, dedicated to the safe operation of this league, has approved this safety program. The plan is designed to prevent injury and accidents through education and training of volunteers and players, inspection of equipment and facilities on a regular basis, procedures for reporting and tracking accidents and injuries and a process for reviewing safety issues/concerns as they arise.

FIRST AID

American BLS provides free CPR training for coaches. All coaches should take our FREE CPR Course and our Free First Aid Course and learn how to act in the event of a tragic injury. Accidents can happen both on and off the field.

The above courses are free, to take and are not a requirement, but strongly encouraged.
There is an option at the end to pay for a completion card, again not required.
