Refund Policy

General Refund Policy:

Refunds (less administrative fee - $10) are available upon request based on the below schedule:

  • Full refunds: Available upon request if request is received prior to the TEAM FORMATION date.

  • Partial Refunds (50%): Available upon request, if request is received on TEAM FORMATION date and prior to the SCHEDULED OPENING DAY/FIRST GAME date for the division your child is placed in.

  • No Refunds are available on OPENING DAY/FIRST GAME date and thereafter.

  • Refunds are on the cost of registration only. All refunds are less the cost of the Sports Connect service fee.

How to Request a Refund:

All refund requests must be made in writing to [email protected] 

Refunds will be issued by a credit back to the credit card used for payment. 

If fees were paid with a check, the refund will be issued in a check.

If fees were paid by scholarship, that money will be donated into our scholarship fund for future player scholarships. Reapplication will be needed, scholarship is not guaranteed. 

Email should include the following information:

     a. Players name

     c. League age/division

     d. Parent Name and Cell Number

     e. Home mailing address


COVID-19 Refund Policy (Spring 2020)

If the season is cancelled in their entirety due to COVID-19, LGLL will offer families the option of: 

     (1) a full refund to be issued by 06/30/2020;

     (2) a credit in the full amount applied to the account to be used in the 2021 season;

     (3) the option to make a tax deductible donation of the registration fee to LGLL. 

Refund Addendum 2021 - In effect until resumption of regular play:

In the event that the 2021 seasons are suspended after the start of practice/games by order of the governor, LGLL will provide a credit or refund prorated based on how much of the season was played less the administrative fees, costs of uniforms/hats, field costs, and any other sunk costs related specifically to the 2021 season that cannot be cancelled or credited back to the LGLL, by its vendors and incurred by LGLL up until the point of season cancellation. 

*These will only be applied as credits on the players accounts*

In the event that the 2021 seasons are suspended after the start of practice/games because COVID-19 Return to Play guidelines were not followed by players, coaches, admin or parents/bystanders LGLL will not be able to provide a credit or refund. This policy is based on the cost of administrative fees, costs of uniforms, field costs, and many other sunk costs incurred by LGLL during the 2020 & 2021 that we as a league can not recoup or recover. 

In the event of a dispute, appeals to the LGLL refund policy must be made to the Board of Directors via email to [email protected]. The only disputes that will be reviewed are ones that provide medical documentation as to why the refund should be given. These refunds, if approved, will be issued as credits on the players account minus the administration fee.
